Shivaravam is a quiet celebration of South Indian design. It bridges memory and modernity—reinterpreting the past for how we live today.
The ripple rafters, carved wooden columns with stone bases, the pooja door with lotus motifs, and the Oonjal - all feel familiar, but they’ve been designed with a fresh eye.
As you walk into the living room, the first thing you notice is the swing—suspended by Kolam-inspired ropes. It anchors the living and dining space, creating a sense of rhythm and openness.
We’ve used an unconventional seating layout, with a bold rust-toned sectional running along the wall, and the dining tucked into a corner—freeing up the centre. A Kolam-patterned rug ties the whole space together.
And right at the heart of it all is a sculptural wall light by Shailesh Rajput, inspired by Lord Shiva. It’s quiet, symbolic, and holds the spirit of the home
